By accessing or using the Migroo website or platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Migroo

Migroo is an educational technology platform that provides resources, templates, and structured workflows to help you prepare your own visa application.

Migroo:

  • is not a law firm
  • does not provide migration advice or legal advice
  • does not act on your behalf in relation to any visa application

Migroo is not a Registered Migration Agent within the meaning of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth).

All content and tools are provided for general informational and self-preparation purposes only.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a product, or using Migroo’s platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use Migroo.

3. Use of the Platform

You must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • use the platform for lawful purposes only
  • provide accurate information where required
  • use Migroo for personal, non-commercial use only

You must not:

  • copy, reproduce, or resell Migroo content
  • reverse engineer or attempt to exploit the platform
  • use Migroo in a way that could harm or disrupt its operation

Migroo may update, modify, or improve the platform at any time.

4. Nature of Services (Educational Only)

Migroo provides:

  • educational guides and explanations
  • templates and checklists
  • structured workflows to help you organise your application

Migroo does not:

  • assess your eligibility for a visa
  • provide personalised recommendations
  • review your full application for legal compliance
  • communicate with the Department of Home Affairs on your behalf

You remain solely responsible for your application.

5. Self-Preparation Responsibility

Migroo is designed for independent, DIY visa preparation.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that:

  • you are preparing your own application
  • you must review and verify all information before submission
  • you are responsible for ensuring your application meets visa requirements

Migroo is not responsible for decisions made based on platform content.

6. Payments & Pricing

Some Migroo products are free, while others are paid.

  • Prices are listed in AUD and include GST (where applicable)
  • Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g. Stripe)
  • By purchasing, you authorise Migroo to charge your selected payment method

Because Migroo provides digital, instantly accessible products, purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

7. Refunds & Consumer Rights

Once a product has been accessed or delivered, refunds are not provided unless required by law.

If a product is faulty, not as described, or inaccessible, please contact info@migroo.com.au and we will provide a remedy in accordance with the ACL.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the ACL.

8. Privacy

Your use of Migroo is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store personal information.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and platform features are owned by Migroo Pty Ltd.

You may use Migroo for personal use only.

You must not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without written permission.

10. Accuracy & Information

While Migroo aims to provide clear and helpful educational information:

  • content may be incomplete or outdated
  • laws and policies may change
  • templates may not suit every situation

You must verify all information independently, including via official sources such as the Department of Home Affairs.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Migroo provides its platform “as is” and “as available”
  • Migroo makes no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or suitability
  • Migroo is not liable for any loss, delay, or adverse outcome arising from your use of the platform

This includes reliance on:

  • guides, templates, or workflows
  • any information provided on the platform

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Security

Migroo uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data.

However, no system is completely secure. By using the platform, you accept the inherent risks of online services.

13. Termination

You may stop using Migroo at any time.

Migroo may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the platform.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.

You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

15. Changes to These Terms

Migroo may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on the website. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
